Hi there! I'm D.J. and I am committed to helping you become the absolute best version of yourself -
both inside and out!
After spending 15 years in corporate America running both a plastics manufacturing company and a logistics company, I decided to follow my passion for fitness and wellness and dedicate my life to helping other people improve theirs through a unique approach to good health. For as long as I can remember, helping people has been one of my biggest sources of joy and what fuels my fire.
As a former Division 1 baseball player I’ve always understood the importance of being active and eating healthy in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. But I also understand the reality of how work/life stress (for me, corporate burnout), lack of motivation, choices made by convenience and vicious repetitive cycles can play a major role in keeping you from your best and healthiest self- and certainly making it hard to stick to any health programs. This is why I'm a firm believer in taking a balanced approach to addressing fitness and wellness goals, which starts with being realistic with what kind of exercise and diet changes are feasible for each client as individuals and what kind of program is going to keep them from "falling-off" before reaching their desired results.

I'm not a 7 days a week in the gym type guy nor a chicken and broccoli for every meal dude. I love to enjoy life's simple pleasures, like days off and the occasional pizza for breakfast- and I think our time on earth is too short not to. Studies actually show that the more strict and overly religious you are with exercise and diet commitments, the more likely you are to fall off track. The good news though- it doesn't have to be this way. It's more than possible to achieve a healthy, happy body without going overboard on time commitments and restrictions- and I'm here to show how, cheer you on, and support you through every step of your wellness journey.
I get it, there are A LOT of fitness and nutrition coaches out there and you want to make sure not only your money is going to something you will achieve results with, but also be able to sustain those results. This is why I not only provide my clients with exercise and nutrition plans, but also teach them how to make healthy decisions on their own.
